The News Bureau serves as the liaison between the University and the news media. The office works to maximize positive coverage in the national, regional, state and local news media and to manage other news stories in an effort to obtain balanced coverage. News Bureau staff members are available to provide assistance to all faculty, staff and students in dealing with the news media, including media training. Each staff member is responsible for covering different parts of campus; these assignments change periodically.
