George Johnstone

Title: Chair of the Department of Health Psychology

Background: Johnstone is a board-certified neuropsychologist (one of 10 in Missouri) and was recognized as a Fulbright Scholar at the National University of Ireland, Galway, in 2004 where he studied disability in Ireland. He has been elected as a fellow by both the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the American Psychological Association. His research interests include vocational rehabilitation of individuals with traumatic brain injury and other disabilities, and the relationship between spirituality and health.
